I was born and raised in Odessa, Ukraine. In the late 90s my family and I moved to Chicago where I completed my early education and enrolled into The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. By the mid 2000’s I graduated from the SAIC with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.

In 2023, I relocated to Charleston, SC, with my wife and children, where we now happily live and work.

Primarily I work with oil on canvas. My work is a reflection and a reaction to my experiences. Often one painting is motivated by the painting that came before it. Through my art, I strive to capture both the emotional and physical essence of the objects and scenes I encounter, offering viewers a glimpse into how I perceive and understand the world around me.
